Highest Tax Rate of any item now calculated for a few set of charges being applied in the bill as an item.

Enhancement Summary:

A. Highest Tax rate of any item in a particular invoice are now calculated for a few set of charges being applied in the bill as an item. (E.g: Shipping Charges, COD Charges). A new parameter 'Allow Dynamic Tax' has been introduced in this respect.

  • Default value of 'Allow Dynamic Tax' is 0.
  • For 'Allow Dynamic Tax' = 0, Tax calculation logic has no change
  • If 'Allow Dynamic Tax' = 1 against any of the item then highest tax% of the invoice will be calculated for that particular item.
  • The highest tax% applied on items having 'Allow Dynamic Tax' = 0 will be applicable for both Inventory & Non-inventory items.
  • Tax calculation logic will be similar to that for other items in the bill.
    • System will restrict to save the Invoice if the 'Allow Dynamic Tax' value for all items of the invoice is 1 as the highest tax rate can not be derived in this respect (It is derived from the items having 'Allow Dynamic Tax' = 0 ). 

    A new parameter has been introduced for pushing online invoices by Third party aggregators in item detail part. It will be named as "Allow Dynamic tax". 
    If the parameter returns as true against any item, then the highest tax rate of any of that bill item will get applicable for the item. 
    And if the parameter returns as false, then tax rate defined for that item in the master will get applicable.

    B. Few more parameters in the detail section of Create invoice payload have been introduced for managed as well as outright site type so that any data being passed against these parameters get saved in the system.

    Ginesys Data Services (Outbound) introduce the service to feed Ginesys data (Transaction and Master) to one or more other applications in a data file format (viz. JSON). Thus any third party application to be integrated with Ginesys data can easily plugin considering the terms and conditions applied as well as the security concerns.
