This article defines how to frame the conditions for Quantity based Simple Benefit Promotions. On clicking the Condition button, the Condition window opens where you can provide both the buying condition and the benefit attached to it.

Scenario:
Using this feature, you can apply this kind of promo - On purchase of ₹ 999.00, the customer will get an additional item worth ₹199.00 RSP from the store.

Follow the table below to define the promotion.

Buy Specification Get Specification

Condition

Buy any < specific user defined > quantity from Assortment

Buy Assortment

Select the assortment from the drop-down list given or create a new assortment.

Note: Assortments can be both created and viewed from here.

The assortment created here will be only of the Buy or Both type.

The Get Item quantity cannot be greater than the quantity mentioned for the Buy Specification.
Get Quantity is inclusive in Buy Quantity on Buy Pool.

Note: By default, Ginesys allows lowest price item as free when using the Buy Pool in this Get condition.

Select Get Assortment

Select the assortment from the drop-down list given or create a new assortment. It is mandatory to provide an assortment here.

Note: Assortments can be viewed or created from here.The assortment created here will be only of the Get or Both type.

Get Item -

Get any quantity from the above specified Get assortment
Get any < user defined > unit of Lowest priced or Highest priced item from the above specified Get Assortment.

Discount Type -

- 100% Discount [FREE]
  (Will be disabled for Get any quantity from the above specified Get assortment)
- <User defined> % Discount on <RSP or MRP>
- <User defined> Rs. discount on <RSP or MRP>
- <User defined> Rs. Fixed price on <Each Item or All Item>
  (All items option is not applicable for Get any quantity from the above specified Get assortment)

Note: In case if the items of Buy Assortment and the Get Assortment are same, then Get Assortment will be treated as Buy Assortment.

Multiple assortment specification is mandatory. Select the multiple assortments from the drop-down list given or create new assortments.

The item ratio specification is mandatory.

The assortment created here will be only of the Buy or Both type.

Flat Discount

Discount Type -

<User defined> % Discount on <RSP or MRP>
<User defined> Rs. discount on <RSP or MRP>
<User defined> Rs. Fixed price on <Each Item or All Item>.

Buy any quantity from Assortment.
