titleHow To: Add Process in the Process Master

Prerequisites

  1. The users' role must have access to the Add app operation in the Process feature in Inventory - Product Definition - Setup through Roles in Ginesys Web - Admin - Security.

Step-by-step guide

The steps are as follows:

  1. Go to Ginesys Web - Inventory - Product Definition - Setup - Process. The Process module opens.

  2. Click on the Add button. The Add Process window opens.

  3. There are two sections - General Information & Rate Information

       General Information

  1. Process filed is the mandatory field and you have to give the process name which you want to create.
  2. Alias is basically the alternate name of process name . It is an user input field, that is, you can type in any name you want.
  3. Process Group is an user input field and used for reference and reporting purpose.
  4. Invoice Applicable is a check box .If you want you can tick that.

       Rate Information

  1. Jobber  can be selected from the drop down list.
  2. Class name will be populated as per the jobber name.
  3. User can give Rate and Order Limit by their choice.
  4. Limit Basis can be chosen from two options -Quantity and Service Amount.

       

       4. Once done, click on the Save button. 


      5. Record saved successfully. - message will be displayed on the screen.

titleHow To: Edit a Process in the Process master

Prerequisites

  1. The users' role must have access to the Modify app operation in the Process feature in Inventory - Product Definition - Setup through Roles in Ginesys Web - Admin - Security.

Step-by-step guide

  1. Select a process and click on the Edit option (from the Actions menu) or double click on the record. The Edit Process window opens.
  2. Here you can modify the all the fields if needed.
  3. If the record became extinct record then you can mark that by the This record is extinct option which is at the bottom right of the window
  4. Once done, click on the Save button.
  5. Record saved successfully. - message will be displayed.

titleHow To: Delete a Process
Pre-requisites

Prerequisites

  1. The users' role must have access to the Delete app operation in the Process feature in Inventory - Product Definition - Setup through Roles in Ginesys Web - Admin - Security.
  2. If the process created here, has any service documents or is tagged in any production document it cannot be deleted any way ,it can only be made extinct

Step-by-step guide

  1. Select a Process and click on the Delete option (from the Actions menu).
  2. A confirmation window will appear with the message - Are you sure you want to delete current Record? If you want to proceed, click Yes, or else click No.
  3. If you select Yes and if any Jobber is assigned to that process then the Process can't be deleted and it will show you a message "Cannot delete process. Entry exists in process rate information against this process". The process can be deleted still if you open the Process in edit mode and remove the assigned  Jobber from there and save it.
  4. If you select Yes and if any Jobber is not assigned then a message - Record deleted successfully. - will be displayed.
  5. If you select No, then you will be directed back to the Process module.
