When the user needs to assign certain specific Organization Sites to customers for sale; the Assign Organization Site module in Sales and Distribution will be used.This window tags allocated organization sites to the particular customer signifying that the seller will be making his sales to the specified customers from allocated organization sites only.
Tagging of organization sites can be made at customer site level also. For example: an organization site can buy goods from a site X of a customer C, but the organization cannot buy from site Y of the same customer C.
Multiple Organization sites can be allocated for each customer. If no organization site is allocated then the customer has the freedom to transact in all organization sites for the company.
Pre-requisites
- The user's role must have the Allocate application operation enabled for Sales & Distribution > Setup > Customers > Assign Organization Site in Admin > Security > User > Roles .
Step-by-step guide
Assignment of Organization Sites (Sales & Distribution) can be done in the following way:
- Go to Sales & Distribution > Setup > Customers > Assign Organization Site.
- Click on the Assign button to open the Assign Organization Site window.

Edit
Editing records for this functionality can only be done by clicking the same Assign button to open the Assign Organization Site window. All the fields are modifiable.
