How To: Create Goods Receive Challan against GRC Advice at POS Back Office

Store needs to create Goods Receive Challan (GRC) against GRC Advice in time of goods receive. This article describes the process of create Goods Receive Challan (GRC) at POS Back Office.

Pre-requisites

  1. The users' role must have access to the Goods Receive feature in Admin - Role - User Role - User's role - Access Rights - Back Office - Transaction.
  2. GRC Advice must be created. 

Step-by-step guide

The steps are as follows:

  1. Go to POS> Back Office > Transaction > Goods Receive.
  2. Goods Receive tab will open. 
  3. Click on Add button.
  4. Goods Receive window will open.
  5. You will get two tabs - Documents and Packets.
    1. Documents
      1. Select Document Number by clicking on Select Scheme button.
      2. Select the GRC Advice No. (mandatory) by clicking on Browse (...) button.
      3. Select the Receive Stock Point by clicking on Browse (...) button. 
      4. Fill up others fields.
      5. All the documents will be populated in the Summary section.



    2. Packet
      1. Click on Reconcile Packet.
      2. Select the packet. Packet can be selected using Import Barcode.
      3. All the items inside the packet will be populated. 
      4. You can edit packets by clicking on Edit Packet. 
      5. You can remove a packet by clicking on Remove Packet. 
      6. You can reconcile item by clicking on Reconcile Item.
      7. Click on OK.



  6. Click on OK in the Goods Receive window.
 Enhancements in version 11.143.0 - 1.143.0

In POS due to time constraints, users were often not scanning each item even when only item reconciliation was allowed as it was possible to enter the value manually in Received column of the GRC (Policy - Allow packet reconciliation in Goods Receive). Now by using the same policy renamed to - Reconciliation mode in Goods Receive - three cases may be seen.

  • If Both Packet and Item reconciliation is selected, the user will be allowed to reconcile packets and also enter item quantity manually (or) scan items with quantity population as a manual mode in goods receive-item reconciliation.
  • If Only Item reconciliation with manual entry is selected, the user will be allowed only to perform item reconciliation with an option to enter item quantity manually or scan items with quantity population as a manual mode in goods receive.
  • If Only Item reconciliation without manual entry is selected, the user will be allowed only to perform item reconciliation but without an option to enter item quantity manually or scan items with quantity population as a manual mode in goods receive.
