How To: Delete Stock Audit Journal and Cycle Count at the store

In order to clear the junk value from the system, we need to delete unnecessary details including incorrectly created Stock Audit Plans.This article describes how to delete a Stock Audit Plan.

Pre-requisites

  1. The users' role must have access to the Physical Stock Audit feature by enabling the Delete app operation for the Audit Journal and feature in Admin - Role - User Role> Access Rights - Back Office - Transaction.

  2. The users' role must have access to the Physical Stock Audit feature by enabling the Delete app operation for the Cycle Count and feature in Admin - Role - User Role> Access Rights - Back Office - Transaction. 

  3. A closed Cycle Count cannot be deleted.

  4. Only an open Stock Audit Journal (Status column shows Open) can be deleted.

Step-by-step guide

The steps are as follows:

  1. Go to POS>Back Office>Transactions>Physical Stock Audit>Audit Journals or POS>Back Office>Transactions>Physical Stock Audit>Cycle Count

  2. Select the audit journal / cycle count you wish to delete.

    Note: Only an open Audit Journal / Cycle Count may be deleted.

  3. Click on Delete button.

  4. The system asks for a confirmation and the selected audit journal / cycle count is deleted.
