How To: Add Remarks to a Bill

The Remarks feature allows you to add information to a bill. It could be customer information, payment information, alteration details etc. This feature helps you to serve the demands of the customers better. This article describes how to add remarks to a bill.

Note: This is an optional feature. You may or may not add remarks to a bill.

Pre-requisites

  1. A valid bill must exist.

Step-by-step guide

The steps are as follows:

  1. Once the bill is created, click on the Bill (or press F4 key) > Remarks or alternatively, click on the Bill Remarks option in the POS Taskpad (press the shortcut key Ctrl+6).

    Note: You can also press the following keys to open the Enter Remarks window for Bills in Collection Centre:

    POS as Collection Centre - Ctrl+6

  2. Enter Remarks window opens.

  3. Enter your remarks in the Remarks section.

  4. Click OK.

    Note: The bill remarks will be shown in the Bill Detail report.
