How To: Switch Users

On certain incidents, option helps you to switch user using different credentials, while still working in the same session from the same terminal. This is mainly an administrative function.

Pre-requisites

1. You need to have a session open in a terminal.
   
   
2. You need to have the credentials of the user you want to switch with. 

Step-by-step guide

The steps are as follows:

1. Click on the Tasks menu (or press shortcut key F5).
   
   
2. Click on the Switch User option. 
   
   
3. Switch User window opens.
   
   
4. Enter the credentials of the user you want to switch with.
   
   
5. Click on the Switch button.
   
   
6. To return back to the previous user, again click on the Switch User option and click on the Switch Back button.
