How To: Reprint Delivery Slips

Sometimes ink failure, paper stuck to the printer and other printer issues, lost or torn delivery slips etc. might result in a situation where the users need to reprint the delivery slip. This article describes how to reprint POS delivery slips.

Pre-requisites

  1. The users' role must have access to the Reprint feature by enabling the app operation for the feature in Admin - Security - Roles – POS as Delivery Slip.
  2. The system must be connected to a printer.

Step-by-step guide

The steps are as follows:

  1. Open the Delivery Slip module in GINESYS POS.
  2. Click on the Delivery slip(or press F4 key) > Reprint Search Delivery slips window opens. Alternatively, you can either click on POS Taskpad > Delivery slip Reprint (or press Ctrl+9 keys).
  3. Click on POS Delivery slip option beside the Search
  4. Enter as many details as possible in the search options. The options are:
    1. Delivery slip number - If your customer has carried the delivery slip along with him, then you can look for that particular delivery slip by entering the delivery slip number of the customer.
    2. Delivery slips containing the following item- This enables you to search the delivery slip by scanning the barcode of the items.

      Note: This is a much slower process as one barcode might exist in many delivery slips.

    3. All delivery slips within this amount range- This will show you all the delivery slips within the price range entered.
  5. Then click on Search.
  6. Select the required delivery slip.
  7. You can view the details of the required delivery slip by clicking on the Delivery Slip Details button.

    Note: All details will be shown in a display-only mode.

  8. Click on Reprint
  9. The required delivery slip will be printed.
  10. Click on Cancel in the Search Delivery slips window to close it.
