Batch / Serial Impact on Sales and Distribution (Retail)

Grid Behaviour:

  • The grid contains only Batch/Serial managed Items
  • The grid has View Properties and Delete Rows options.
    • Deleting a row :
      • In case of Select Items, delete that row.
      • In case of Set scan / Import set barcode,
        Delete all the items of the set for which the row is being deleted.
        (SET: Not applicable for POS)
  • Error highlighter has been provided
  • Search Records functionality has been provided
  • All columns in the grid have sorting feature
  • All columns are view only except Quantity column.
    (Quantity Column : Conditionally Editable)
Name:
Barcode
  • To display OEM Barcode for the item, if not found then the item code of the item scanned/selected.

  • The column is displayed by default & can not be hidden. (Not applicable for POS)

Name:
Item Description
  • To display Item Name specified for the scanned item. If Item Name is not defined, then combination of all category values to be displayed, separated by a space.

  • The column is displayed by default & cannot be hidden. (Not applicable for POS)

Quantity
  • Populate as defined by user during item selection.

  • The column is displayed by default & cannot be hidden. (Not applicable for POS)

  • Editable in every case except when an “Item Set” is scanned or “Import set barcode” functionality is used.

On clicking the Scan Button :

  • If scanning is being done for batch managed items, then

    • Scanned batch no. if found in the grid, then append the issue qty. with scan unit.

    • Scanned batch no. if not found in the grid but exists for the selected item barcode, then
      Show a warning message with ‘OK’ and ‘Cancel’ buttons “Stock is not available in the stock point for <batch no>. Do you still want to continue?

      • On click on Ok button, : A new row shall be added in the grid with scanned batch information and post quantity as scan unit in “Issue Quantity” column for that item after negative stock check.

      • On click on Cancel button : Do nothing and bring user back to previous screen.

    • Scanned batch no. doesn’t exist for the selected product in the system, then
      Error message “Item-Batch combination does not exist. Please rectify and try again” [OK]

  • If scanning is being done for serial managed items, then

    • Scanned serial no. if found in the grid,

      • If row already selected, the following error message is showing after clicking on ok button - “Scanned serial no. already selected.

      • Otherwise, post scan quantity. for item in Issue Qty. column.

    • Otherwise, the following error message is showing after clicking on ok button - “Scanned Serial no. <serial no.> is not found for the item selected, please rectify and try again.”

      Manual input of “System Batch/Serial” is not allowed here.
      Msg: “System Batch/Serial” is restricted.” [OK]

  • Search records tool provided

  • All column in grid to have sorting feature.

View only

  • For the stock point selected in base form, show all the batch/ serial no.(s) for which the selected item is present i.e. Available Qty > 0.

  • Columns are displayed by default and cannot be hidden. (Not applicable for POS)

  • Multi-select is provided - Only in case of serial

    • If row is selected, then mark it checked and update issue qty. as Scan Unit.

  • Mfg. date

  • Valid Upto

Type:
View only

  • Data picked by Batch no. & I code combination.

  • Columns are displayed by default and cannot be hidden. (Not applicable for POS)

  • Error filter is required

  • Total Count, Total Available Qty. & Total Qty. needed in grid footer.

  • Display Stock Qty. for batch no. stock point wise i.e. for the stock point selected in base form.

  • Columns are displayed by default and cannot be hidden.(Not applicable for POS)

  • Total Qty. count in grid footer is summation of Issue Quantity column.

  • Manual Input - Batch Applicable Items

  • Auto populate - Serial Applicable Items

  • Alphanumeric. Decimal up to 3, Positive values only

  • Columns are displayed by default and cannot be hidden.(Not applicable for POS)

  • By default it is blank.

  • Value should be in multiple of the Scan Unit.

  • Editable only in case of batch managed items.

  • Default Sorting :

    • For batch applicable items :

      • 'Valid Upto' wise 

      • “Last In” wise 

      • “Batch Code” wise.

    • For serial applicable items :

      • “Last In” wise 

      • “Serial Code” wise.

  • Auto Populate information from last in batch/serial for an item.

  • If no batch/serial details exist for an item, it will be populated from item master.
