In General, Ginesys and IIS services are restarted from System Manager Utility from Ginesys LaunchPad and from the command prompt (CMD) respectively. In cloud VM standard user(Client RDP user) are not able to open System Manager from Ginesys LaunchPad due to insufficient access privilege. If it is required to Start, stop or restart the Ginesys Services and IIS service (World Wide Web Publishing Service) from standard user account, then follow the below steps.

Steps for Service Restart:

Process:

Open windows service manager (Go to RUN → Type Services.msc → Find the below mentioned services → Right click on it and choose restart or Stop or Start accordingly ).

List of Ginesys Services and IIS Service.

  • GINESYS Data Sync Service.

  • GINESYS Licensing Service.

  • GINESYS Planning Service.

  • GINESYS SMS Notification Service.

  • GINESYS SMTP Mail Service.

  • GinesysReportScheduler.

  • World Wide Web Publishing Service (For IIS reset)

  • No labels
