Goods are taken out from the various bins of the warehouse for further processing. The action of collecting stored goods from bins is known as Take Away. This article describes the process of manage Take Away from Ginesys WMS Mobile Application.
Pre-requisites
- The users' role must have access to the Add app operation in the Take Away feature in Inventory - WMS - Transactions through Roles in Ginesys Web - Admin - Security.
- The Ginesys WMS Mobile Application must be installed in the mobile.
- The items must be present in the bin.
Step-by-step guide
The steps are as follows:
- Login into the mobile application with the already created User ID and Password.
- After successfully login, you will get the Dashboard.
- Click on the Settings from Menu icon on right corner of the screen.
- Put in the Site Settings, Put Away details, Take Away details and Other Settings.
- After putting all the details, click on the Save Changes button.
- You will get back the main Dashboard.
- Click on the Take Away tab.
- Scan the Bin Number from which you want to make Take Away.
- You will get the item list present in the scanned bin. Two columns will be available in this list - Available free Qty. and Scanned Qty.
- Start scanning items one by one available in the bin to make Take Away.
- Available Qty. will be decreased and the Scanned Qty. will be increased.
- Click on the Save button when the scan process will be completed.
- You will get a confirmation message - Are you sure that you want to confirmed the scanned item(s)?
- If you click on the Confirm , you will get a message - "Take Away generated successfully <Take Away No.>."
- If you click on Continue, you will get back to the main Dashboard again.
