POS terminals must be properly configured for billing and back office performance. This article shows how to set up a POS terminal, its configuration may be modified if needed.

Pre-requisites

  1. License allocation from HO end for the POS site to accommodate additional POS users for new POS terminal (Related article: 56852708)

  2. Create POS user login to be used on Terminal system.

  3. Sharing is enabled for GINESYS POS directory
    1. Open Windows Explorer.
    2. Locate the C:\Program Files (x86)\GSL folder.
    3. Right click on GINESYS POS > Share with (or Give access to in some Windows versions) > Specific People.
    4. Type Everyone and click Add.
    5. Click Share.
    6. Click Done when the sharing is complete.
    7. Your GINESYS POS application folder is now shared.
