POS terminals must be properly configured for billing and back office performance. This article shows how to set up a POS terminal, its configuration may be modified if needed.
Pre-requisites
- License allocation from HO end for the POS site to accommodate additional POS users for new POS terminal (Related article: 56852708)
- Create POS user login to be used on Terminal system.
- Sharing is enabled for GINESYS POS directory
- Open Windows Explorer.
- Locate the C:\Program Files (x86)\GSL folder.
- Right click on GINESYS POS > Share with (or Give access to in some Windows versions) > Specific People.
- Type Everyone and click Add.
- Click Share.
- Click Done when the sharing is complete.
- Your GINESYS POS application folder is now shared.
