36023 New Installation kit for GINESYS WebREPORTS version 2017.2.1

Enhancement Summary:

The new installation kit for GINESYS Web Reports version 2017.2.1 has been released and updating to this new kit will allow access to new Web Reports from new modules.

Tip

Note: Existing users also need to implement the kit to access the latest developments in Ginesys Web Reports.


Warning

Note: Those who have configured the Report Scheduler must keep a backup of the eWebReportsScheduler.xml before updating to GINESYS Web Reports version 2017.2.1

<Ginesys Installation Drive>\GSL\GINESYS12\GinesysReport\Web Reportscheduler\eWebReportsScheduler.xml>

Replace the above file (eWebReportsScheduler.xml) in its previous position after update.

Those who are installing it for the first time should ignore the above note.

36028 Now lock days assigned to users can be seen from the list view of the User master

Enhancement Summary:

Lock days define the number of days for which the user can make a back dated entry, i.e. if the lock days for an user is 2 days and his system date is 31/12/2017; then he can make a back dated entry upto 29/12/2017 only. He cannot make an entry for 28/12/2017 unless he modifies his system date.

Now the lock days assigned to each Ginesys user can be seen from the list view of the User master, without opening each record individually.
