What we do if we fill slowness in VM?

If you are experiencing poor VM performance, should check first how many users are there in disconnecting state, kindly log off those users & check.

Still, if you are facing poor VM performance then raise an incident ticket in the Ginesys care portal.

What to do if we want to restart the system?

If you want to restart the VM, then first close running Ginesys application & its modules then inform to Ginesys care.

How do I change the password of any user?

If you want to change the password of any user then raise a request ticket in Ginesys care portal.

How do we restart Web service or database service?

If its necessary to restart the Web service or database service then raise a request ticket in Ginesys care portal.

How I can do manual Sync, it is asking for Windows admin password?

Generally Auto sync always there in running state to exchange data between HO & POS server within fixed time interval, hence manual sync not required.

If you want to see the data exchange dash board then you can see the same from Ginesys web retail section.

Do I need to store HO backup on a regular basis?

Generally, you don't need to take & store HO backup, because the backup of complete VM image is a regular process for any sudden incident.

How can we access Ginesys application for our day to day operation?

The standard procedure to access, Ginesys Desktop via RDP & Ginesys Web via Server IP / Public IP.

What are the advantages we get from Ginesys cloud server over a physical server?

Entire Ginesys HO server, as well as WebDB, will take care from Ginesys end. You should not have any headache regarding your application, database & backup.

From anywhere you can access your server to complete your daily tasks.

Apart from this you also no need to take headache about regular backup.

What to do if I want to increase my VM size?

Anytime if your user counts increases as well as your requirement, then you need to inform the same to your account manager only.

On the basis of your requirements, we will suggest the right decision.

What to do if I want to install some application of my choice in VM?

Ginesys does not recommend you to install any other application in VM system.

Though if we observe that the application is necessary for your day to day operation then raise a request ticket in Ginesys care portal, we will configure it. Ex: Adobe Acrobat Reader.

What to do if I want to create a new user?

You should inform your requirements to your account manager or raise a request ticket in Ginesys care portal, according to your needs we will create the same.
