Windows 7 and Windows Vista feature a multi-functional task scheduler called, Task Scheduler. It shows you all the tasks scheduled in Windows — both user created as well as system tasks. 

Pre-requisites

  1. Operating System should be Windows 7 or Windows Vista

Step-by-step guide

  1. Open the Control Panel.
  2. Open the Administrative Tools window.
    • In Windows 7, look under System and Security.
    • In Windows Vista, under System and Maintenance.
  3. Open the Task Scheduler icon.
  4. If prompted, type the administrator’s password or click Continue.
  5. The Task Scheduler window appears.
  6. On the left side, select the top item, Task Scheduler (Local).
  7. You see the Task Scheduler Summary. It provides a review of your tasks, including which tasks have run and which are active.
