Overview:

In Ginesys server, manual sync is happening fine but scheduled sync is not happening though the scheduler service is in running state.

Analysis:

In trying to analyze the same issue in multiple Ginesys locations we found one thing common i.e. K7 Antivirus present in all the affected server systems. K7 Antivirus application offers some powerful extras, but the core antivirus protection provides below average accuracy. This could be the one of the reason that K7 antivirus firewall blocks the Ginesys scheduler service inexplicably.

Action:

The following steps unblock the Ginesys Scheduler Service functionality:

Open K7 antivirus GUI =>Configure Firewall =>Applications => List of Applications managed by Firewall=>Search for Ginesys scheduler service & give Access type as Full access.
