Shifting goods from one point to another point due to specific reason is called Transfer. Transfers are movements of goods from one location to another location within the company, including store, warehouse, or an external finisher and is used in the Consignment mode of retail system. In the consignment mode, goods shift to the customer from seller or the customer return goods from to the seller due to particular reason without raising final invoice. After completing the total sale process, the final settlement invoice is generated. Hence, the total process is call Transfer.
