For Shopify we have to create an app on shopify channel to create the channel in BT.

Step1: To create an app on shopify login to shopify panel and then go to settings and then click on Apps 

Step2: After clicking on apps Scroll down to ‘App and sales channel settings’.

 

Step3: Click on Develop apps

 

Step4: After clicking on develop apps on App development, Click on Create an app. 

 

Step5: Type Browntape in both the empty field ( App name ) and create app. 

Step6: Once the app is created click on Configuration to set the permissions.     

 

Some mandatory permissions to be selected in configuration are: 

Then click on save.

Step7: Once you click on API credentials there you will get API key and password, which needs to be entered on shopify to add the channel.

 Note: API secret key can only be viewed once.

 

Step8: Come on Browntape, go to channels and search for shopify and then click on add this 

 

Step9: Once added fill in the details API key and password will be on shopify panel which we got earlier and then click on add channel and the channel is added.
