The POS Apps form allows the integration of other applications to Ginesys, currently Zwing (the Ginesys Cloud POS) can be integrated through this.

 Add POS Apps

Prerequisites

  1. The users' role must have access to the Add app operation in the POS Apps feature in Admin - Utilities - Connected Apps - POS Apps through Admin - Securities - Roles.

Step-by-step guide

The process is divided into the following steps:

  1. Go to Ginesys Web > Admin > Utilities > Connected Apps> POS Apps.

  2. POS Connected Apps form will open by clicking the Add button.
  3. Put in App Name (Optional Field) and Associate Organization Unit (Mandatory Field)
  4. Webhook Setting and Ginesys API Setting are the two sections in the form.
  5. Webhook URL and Webhook Secret (mandatory fields) and Encryption Key(Optional field) in Webhook setting.

    Important

    Webhook URL and Webhook Secret are to be provided by the Integration partner, in this case Zwing.

  6. Ginesys API URL and Ginesys API Key( mandatory fields) in Ginesys API Setting.

  7. Use the test button beside Webhook URL and Ginesys API URL to test the connection.

  8. If the testing is successful, the Save button activates.
