SYMPTOMS

In POS application setup process, a window opens as POS 1-2-3 setup but sometimes an error message appears on screen as follows.

'No data uploaded yet for this site...'

CAUSE

The reason behind this problem is, before POS 1-2-3 setup process one site is created first at Site master in Ginesys Head Office and this site is published from Head Office first. Also this record is sent to Web Database through Data Exchange for further Data transaction during POS 1-2-3 setup.

Here at Site creation page in Site master one option is Data Exchange that was not selected as Active during publishing the new site.

RESOLUTION

  • Data Exchange option should be marked as Active before site publish. An example given below. Making the option as Active perform the SYNC operation again from Ginesys Head Office.

  • Perform the POS 1-2-3 step again from the starting at POS server.
