'$' sign appears as Base Currency instead of '₹' or 'Rs' in Analytic Report
SYMPTOMS
'$' sign appears as Base Currency instead of '₹' or 'Rs' in any Analytic Report viewed in POS or at HO.
CAUSE
The probable cause for the issue is the system region being set to 'United States' instead of 'India' and the currency being set to '$' instead of '₹' or 'Rs'.
RESOLUTION
- Log out of POS.
Using Windows search, search for Region & Language settings.

In the Region window, select India from the Country or Region drop-down.
- Once again, using Windows search, search Currency.
- Select the option Change the way currency is displayed. This will open the Region window.
- In the Formats tab, click on the Additional Settings... button. The Customize Format window opens.
- In the Customize Format window, go to the Currency tab.
- In the Currency symbol drop-down, select '₹' or 'Rs'.
- Click OK in the Customize Format window.
- Click OK in the Region window.
- Re-login to POS.
