"Ginesys workstation is not found installed in this system, Ginesys Desktop can run only if Ginesys workstation is installed."- when trying to open Ginesys LaunchPad from HO workstation or terminal.

SYMPTOMS


An error occurred while trying to open Ginesys LaunchPad from HO workstation. The following messages may appear after user tries to login into the application.

Ginesys workstation is not found installed in this system, Ginesys Desktop can run only if Ginesys workstation is installed.

CAUSE


Ginesys launchpad shortcut icon created directly from the mapped shared folder without installing the workstation application.

RESOLUTION


Install Ginesys HO workstation using WKSetup file. In case the workstation is already installed and still the issue is coming, that means the installation has been corrupted for any reason, may be due illegal shutdown. Please uninstall Ginesys Workstation from Add Remove Program menu and do a fresh installation.
