Adding & Editing TDS Source Definition in Ginesys Web

TDS Source is the type of the party for which you are deducting the tax at source. Like for example, you can deal with multiple type of parties who may or may-not be associated with any company, so they lie in Individual type, thus you can define Individual as a Source. Other types of sources may be Company, Proprietorship, Partnership, etc.

This option just helps you to classify the rate of any particular TDS according to the rules of the Government.

This Article describes the process of manage TDS Source Definition. 


 Add TDS Source Definition

Prerequisites

  1. The users' role must have access to the Add app operation in the TDS Source Definition feature in Finance - TDS through Roles in Ginesys Web - Admin - Security.

Step-by-step guide

The process is divided in the following steps:

  1. Go to Ginesys Web > Finance > TDS > TDS Source Definition.

  2. TDS Source Definition module will open. 

  3. Click on Add button.

  4. Add :TDS Source form will open.



  5. Put in TDS Source.

  6. Select TDS Type.

  7. Click on Save Button. 

  8. The TDS Source will be saved successfully. 
 Edit TDS Source

Prerequisites

  1. The users' role must have access to the Edit app operation in the TDS Source Definition feature in Finance - TDS through Roles in Ginesys Web - Admin - Security.

Step-by-step guide

The process is divided in the following steps:

  1. Go to Ginesys Web > Finance > TDS > TDS Source Definition.

  2. TDS Source Definition module will open. 

  3. Select one TDS Source to edit. You cannot select multiple documents to edit. 

  4. Go to Action > Edit.


  5. All others details will be populated.      

  6. Edit the required fields as per your requirement.

  7. Click on the Save button to save the modified TDS Source.

Online Printing option is now available from version 12.6.6 onwards.
