How To: Install VC++ 2013 Redistributable (64 bit) manually

Visual C++ Redistributable is a software package that installs run-time components that are required to run apps. If VC++ 2013 Redistributable is not installed, it would not be possible to login to the Ginesys Web Application from Ginesys version 11.136.2 onward. The following error message will appear.

Could not load file or assembly 'Microsoft.SqlServer.BatchParser.dll' or one of its dependencies. The specified module could not be found.

This component will be auto-installed as during update to 11.136.2 but in case that installation route fails or Ginesys application re-installation - follow the steps given below.

Step-by-step guide

Installation by downloading from given link:

  1. Click on vcredist_x64.exe
  2. Find the downloaded file in your download location.
  3. Right click the file to open the menu and select Run as Administrator option.
  4. Accept the license agreement and click - Install to complete the setup.
  5. Restart the IIS service (World Wide Web Publishing Service) to take effect.
