The SMTP Mailer for sending POS Mails is now on the Ginesys ERP web version

Now, users can e-mails from Ginesys POS by configuring it in Ginesys ERP web, like in the earlier Desktop module.

Module path SMTP Mailer - Admin - Utilities - SMTP Mailer

A dedicated user interface has been developed in the ERP application to input and save SMTP mail server settings.

The system will now save SMTP gateway configuration details securely in the database for reference and use.

Role-based permissions are required to control access to the SMTP mail configuration tab. The "Save" permission is assigned to users requiring access.

All other parameters remain same.

The primary objective of this module is to facilitate the setup of SMS gateway configuration. Users can configure SMS gateway details in the Admin>Utility>Manage section , and this information will sync to POS system to enable SMS bill delivery to customers.

The system will now save SMS gateway configuration details securely in the database for reference and use.

Role-based permissions are required to control access to the SMS configuration tab. The "Save" permission is assigned to users requiring access.

New enhancements have been made to the List View page filters in Ginesys ERP

The enhancement is done in two aspect of the list view filter:
Restricting modification of System filter: System default filter of Last 7 Days is now restricted for modification by the users. User can not delete or edit the condition of this filter, though they can choose to create a new filter and set it as Default anytime.
Defining filters at User level: Filters created by the user will get saved at user level. Unlike now where all filters are saved at ERP level and any user can edit/delete the filters created by anyone. This will ensure that only the creator of the filter will be able to modify/delete it. Example: Filter created by User X can not be modified by other users and vice versa. Though it could be used by any user if marked as "Visible to all".
