Managing and Assigning Sales Person at Ginesys HO

Sales Persons are those who actually make the sale to the customer while assisting and guiding their purchase decisions. If a store is HO controlled, then the sales persons are added to the Sales Person master at Ginesys HO and assigned to the particular store. This article describes how to manage and assign Sales Person in Ginesys HO.

 Manage Sales Person

Prerequisites

  1. The users' role must have access to the Sales Person feature by enabling Add / Modify app operation for the feature in Admin - Security - User - Role through POS Manager - Security - Manage.

  2. Site must be created in HO and the POS installed on-site.

  3. In the Site MasterSite tab HO Control section must have the Site sales persons are HO controlled checkbox must be ticked.

Step-by-step guide

The steps are as follows:

 Add Sales Person
  1. Go to POS Manager > Security > Manage > Sales Person.

  2. Sales Person List module will open.

  3. Click on Add button.

  4. Sale Person window will open.


  5. Put in the details of sales person. 

    Note: Sales Person No., First Name are Last Name are mandatory fields. 

  6. Click on the Save & Close button.

  7. You will get a message - "Record Saved Successfully."
 Edit or Modify Sales Person
  1. Go to POS Manager> Security > Manage > Sales Person.

  2. Sales Person List module will open.

  3. Double click on any sales person you want to modify.

  4. Sale Person window will open.

  5. Modify the required fields.

  6. Click on the Save & Close button to save the changes. 


  7. You will get a message - "Record Saved Successfully."
 Delete Sales Person
  1. Go to POS Manager > Security > Manage > Sales Person.

  2. Sales Person List module will open.

  3. Select a sales person you want to delete.

  4. Click on Action > Delete.

  5. You will get a message "Are you sure you want to delete current Record?".

  6. If you click on Yes, the record will be deleted. 

 Assign Sales Person

Prerequisites

  1. The users' role must have access to the Sales Person Assignment feature by enabling Add / Delete app operation for the feature in Admin - Security - User - Role through POS Manager - Security - Process.

  2. Site must be created in HO and the POS installed on-site.

  3. Sales Persons must be created.

Step-by-step guide

The steps are as follows:

 Manage Assign Sales Person
  1. Go to POS Manager > Security > Process > Sales Person Assignment.

  2. Sales Person Assignment module will open with list view of the allocated sales persons.

  3. Go to Action > Manage.

  4. Manage Sales Person Assignment window will open. 


  5. You will get two sections - Select Site and Select Sales Person.

    1. Select Site:
      1. In the select site section you will get the list of available sites. 
      2. Select the site(s) where you want to assign the sales persons.

    2. Select Sales Person: 
      1. In the select sales person section you will get the list of available sales persons. 
      2. Select the sales person(s) for the selected site.

        Note: Site and sales persons relation is Many to Many. You can select more than one sales persons for one site or more than one site.

  6. Click on Save & Close button to save the record. 

  7. Sync from HO to POS to get the sales person in the store.
 Delete Assigned Sales Person
  1. Go to POS Manager> Security > Process > Sales Person Assignment.

  2. Sales Person Assignment module will open with list view of the allocated sales persons.

  3. Go to Action > Delete.

  4. You will get a message - "Do you want to delete the selected assignment?".

  5. If you click on Yes, the assigned sales person will be deleted and you will get a message - "Record Deleted Successfully".
