07-Jul-2017 - Upgrade to .NET Framework 4.6.2, Crystal Report 13.0.20

Dear Customer,

GST implementation has just gone round the corner. GINESYS has rolled out a major release to help you smoothly change-over to the new  tax regime. To stay updated with new and changing regulations in GST regime and promptly fixing any issues found in the software, we have been releasing frequent updates of the software for some time now.

As you are geared up to upgrade all your systems, preparing for the biggest tax reform the country, we would also request you to upgrade the following software in both POS and HO systems as part of that exercise. Microsoft has stopped supporting older versions of .Net Framework and very soon GINESYS will start supporting the new framework. 

GINESYS components will cease to load or start starting 15th August 2017 in case new and updated components are not found installed in the servers and terminals. It is of utmost importance that you update all your systems with the stated components to prevent disruptions in your business operations.

To ease operations for your IT team, you can ask the Store Managers to keep both the installers downloaded in a specific location (e.g. C:\Downloads) at their available time. Once your IT team connects to the store you can use the installer straight away.
