Sometimes It is required to count the item present in the bin to keep track of items. In such situation bin count is the solution of counting huge number of items. This article describes the process of manage Bin Count from Ginesys WMS Mobile Application. 

Pre-requisites

  1. The users' role must have access to the Add app operation in the Bin Count feature in Inventory - WMS - Transactions through Roles in Ginesys Web - Admin - Security.
  2. The Ginesys WMS Mobile Application must be installed in the mobile. 
  3. The items must be present in the bin

Step-by-step guide

The steps are as follows:

  1. Login into the mobile application with the already created User ID and Password.
  2. After successfully login, you will get the Dashboard.
  3. Click on the Settings from Menu icon on right corner of the screen. 
  4. Put in the Site Settings, Put Away details, Take Away details and Other Settings. 
  5. After putting all the details, click on the Save Changes button.
  6. You will get back the main Dashboard.
  7. Click on the Bin Count tab. 
  8. Scan Bin window will open. 
  9. Scan the bin you want to count. 
  10. You will get three column - Booked Qty., Scanned Qty. and Difference.

    Note: Difference = Booked Qty. - Scanned Qty. When the Scanned Qty. increases, the Difference decreases.


  11. If you click on Reset, you will get a message - Are you sure you want to reset the below items?
  12. If you click on the Confirm, the Scanned Qty. become zero(0).
  13. Finally, scan the final quantity and Click on the Save button.
