  1. One common issue that arises is when clients provide their shiprocket panel email and password instead of the API user credentials . This leads to an error while processing orders through the shiprocket courier service. The error encountered in this case is related to assigning the AWB# and is described as follows:

Error :

Error assigning the AWB#.
Courier Service Error: Error In Order Placing To Courier Partner : ('Shiprocket order exception', '{"message":"Unauthorized! You do not have the required permissions.","status_code":403}')

  • To resolve this problem, you will need to update the API user credentials on the clickpost panel. To fetch the same, follow these steps:

    1. Go to the Shiprocket panel.

    2. Click on "Settings" in the menu.

    3. Select "API (configure)".

    4. Create an user if no user created and save the credentials.(This needs to be shared with BT support team ).

  1. The pickup Address Nickname on Shiprocket needs to added in BT warehouse short_code field.
