Report Builder
The Report Builder module is designed to be user-friendly and flexible, with no predefined report templates. Users can select dimensions and measures to generate custom reports based on their data sets. The module is divided into different time range analysis options, including YTD, quarter-to-quarter, month-to-month, week-to-week, single-period and double-period reports.
When using the YTD option, users can select dimensions from a list that includes site, product, division, section, department, category, and vendor. The measure selection drop-down offers a wide range of data points relevant to business operations, such as basket quantity, average sale per day, bill count, cogs, stock-related measures, footfall, fresh sale or discounted sale, sale type margin, GRT, MRP, and target. Users can select the measures they want to include in their reports, and the module generates the reports based on those selections.
For historical data, users can select whether they want to include previous year YTD values and growth or de-growth information. The module offers two report formats: pivot reports and sort reports. Pivot reports provide cross-tabulated data based on selected dimensions, while sort reports allow users to sort columns in ascending or descending order.
The same flexibility is available for quarter-to-quarter, month-to-month, week-to-week, and double-period reports. Users can select any two date ranges and compare data sets using the dimensions and measures they choose. Overall, the Report Builder module offers a user-friendly and flexible way to generate customized reports for businesses.
