How To: Implement Zwing Online POS (GDS2 Inbound)

Zwing is a cloud POS application currently integrated with Ginesys. It can be installed with Ginesys HO at the back-end to ensure a smooth Retail ERP environment for businesses which is depend on the cloud for end customer servicing.

Fast, dependable and secure data transfer, between the two softwares, has been ensured through through GDS. Data from Zwing POS is received by Ginesys through GDS2 Inbound. This article is a step by step guide to the user to implement Zwing Online POS integration (GDS2 Inbound) with Ginesys.

Pre-requisites

  1. Ginesys HO version should be 11.152.0 and above.

Step-by-step guide

  1. Go to HO - Admin - Security - User - Users. Create an API user named 'Zwing User'.

  2. Generate API Key.
     

  3. Save the User once.
  4. Now, the Ginesys base URL (Sample: http://Localhost/GINESYSWeb/API) has to be provided to the Zwing team to do necessary configurations at their end.
  5. Create Zwing store(s) in Retail Management > Setup > Site and start operation.
