This article describe you how to manage GST Rate.
How To: Add a new GST Rate
Pre-requisites
- The users' role must have access to the Add app operation in the GST Rate feature in Inventory - Product Definition - Tax Definition through Roles in Ginesys Web - Admin - Security.
Step-by-step guide
The steps are as follows:
- Go to Ginesys Web > Inventory > Product Definition > Tax Definition > GST Rate.
- Goods & Service Tax Rate Master will open.
- Click on Add button.
- Add Goods & Service Tax Rate Master window will open.
Add the details like Tax Name, Remarks etc.
Tax Name, IGST Rate, CGST Rate, SGST/UTGST Rate, Compensation Cess Rate are mandatory fields.
Condition for Add GST Rate:
- IGST Rate, CGST Rate, UGST/UTGST Rate, Compensation Cess Rate can not be blank or zero(0).
- IGST Rate should be equal to the sum of CGST Rate and SGST Rate.
Click on the Save button.
Record Save Successfully - message displayed on the screen.
Click on Close button to close the window.
How To: Edit GST Rate
Pre-requisites
- The users' role must have access to the Edit app operation in the GST Rate feature in Inventory - Product Definition - Tax Definition Roles in Ginesys Web - Admin - Security.
Step-by-step guide
- Go to Ginesys Web> Inventory> Product Defination>Tax Defination>GST Rate.
- Goods & Service Tax Rate Master will open.
- Select any existingTax Name.
- Click on Action (menu) > Edit.
- Edit Goods & Service Tax Rate Master window will open.
- Now you can change all the fields as per your requirment.
- Click on the Save button.
- Record Save Successfully - message displayed on the screen.
- Now you can see the change you have made.
- you can also extinct the selected Tax by checked the This record is extinct.
