Global Low Stock Trigger
Global low stock trigger is a toggle which is kept on by the client and the preferred channel is selected which the company can expect more orders for a particular sku,
for example, If the client keeps the global low stock trigger on in browntape and the quantity is kept as 1 and the channel which is selected is myntra, so here if there are orders for a particular sku in myntra, browntape will push 0 inventory for the rest unselected channel and only in myntra it will show the stock as 1.

Preferred Channel at Low Inventory
When the stock of any SKU hits the Low Stock Trigger, it will be made Out Of Stock in all other channels except this preferred channel
Channel Types and Low Stock Setting
There are 2 types of channels with respect to inventory:
Location-Agnostics Channel Model: In this model, consolidated inventory across all stores, ie, for a particular SKU the sum of its stock across all the locations, is sent to the channel. For these channels, the low stock check is done after calculating the total stock for an SKU, then sent to channel(s) based on whether it is above or below the low stock setting.
Location-Aware Channel Model: In this model, individual inventory in each store, ie, for a particular SKU the stock of each location, is sent to the channel.
The following presentation explains these models and their working in greater detail:
Re-adjust Cancelled Order Inventory
Seller cancelled orders also lead to marketplace penalties and a negative impact on the account health. Hence, if we re-adjust the inventory for these orders, it will lead to Out of stock orders for that product leading to further marketplace penalties and deterioration of account health, this cycle will continue until the stock is replenished or the SKU is deactivated on the marketplace. It can also lead to suspension of the account.
Hence, we have stopped adjusting inventory for cancelled orders. We are also trying to identify the type of cancellation and when we succeed in distinguishing the buyer and seller cancelled orders, we will adjust inventory for buyer cancelled orders and not do it for the seller cancelled ones.
Adjust Pending Stock
If any orders are present in back orders and if it gets cancelled then the Ordered quantity of the SKU will be adjusted
Adjust Back Orders Stock
If this switch is ON, "To Ship" quantity of the SKU will be adjusted from the stock to be updated, when done via API or file upload.
Stock Alerts
When the products are out of stock, besides the sku it will reflect as 0 in red colour.
When the products stock is low, besides the sku it will reflect in yellow colour and the number of stocks which are remaining.
