An AWB (Air Way Bill) number is needed to be added so that tracking ID is generated within Browntape for any product. AWB numbers are given by a shipping company which are tied up with the businesses. In some business courier companies provide bulk AWBs for the business to use. These are called as unused AWBs in Browntape.

Browntape keeps in mind both the scenarios of adding unused AWBs as well as AWBs provided while sending the courier. AWB are required for processing selfship orders for marketplaces like ebay

Below are the ways we can add AWBs in Browntape.

1)Bulk add AWB

We have the option to add the AWB in bulk in Browntape under Shipments tab, as shown below

It is mandatory to use the csv file(available on the right side) which is required to upload the AWBs in browntape. Sample format is also displayed for reference.

Once this csv file is uploaded, Browntape will use these unused AWBs while processing Self ship orders on Browntape

1. Adding AWB manually

AWB can also be added manually for single orders at Order leve by opening single orders, as shown below in Tracking Info

The same single addition of AWB numbers can be done at the Batch level as well

Please Note: We now have shiprocket integration for generating AWB for shopify orders directly in Browntape. By doing this we don’t have to manually add AWB numbers or use Shiprocket for processing Shopify orders via Browntape.
