FAQ for E-Invoice

 Enablement Queries
  1. For a customer I have a single client id and secret how many config files do I need to upload for the POS E-Invoice Plugin?
    Ans: In this case, you need to upload a single config file with the client id and secret, mark it as default. Allocate the POS sites for which you want to enable the e-invoice plugin.

  2. For a single customer I have multiple client id and secrets how many config files do I need to upload for the POS E-Invoice Plugin?
    Ans: In this case, you need to upload multiple config files in the repository with each having a unique client id and secret. Then allocate the respective config files with the respective POS sites in the site allocation window.
     Note: You need to mark any one file as a default config file since every plugin needs to have one default config file.
  3. If there are any changes in the Config file of the E-Invoice Plugin, how do we update them at the POS level?
    Ans: Upload the latest config file in the File repository and tag it with the applicable sites. The rest process remains the same.

  4. If there are updates available for the dll file of the E-Invoice Plugin how do I update them?
    Ans: Updates for plugin dll will be shown under "Ginesys POS AutoUpdate -> Update Plugin Tab". Click on download to replace the latest dll file.


 Processing Queries
  1. Is it possible to update IRN manually after this update?
    Ans: Yes, only in case of error or where E-invoice is not integrated. Once IRN is updated via integrated process any manual modification is not allowed.
  2. What are the type of POS documents for which E-invoice is not applicable?
    Ans: For POS Bill (if Customer's GSTIN No. is not present or there is a return/exchange item present in the bill).

  3. How to cancel the IRN for the document where IRN was updated manually without the integration?
    Ans: After the version update, if the IRN was generated manually for the document in the EasemyGST Portal then the user can cancel it via integration.

  4. How to process the documents where an error is received while generating IRN?
    Ans: Process to handle errors remains as is. Users need to check the error message, correct it manually and generate IRN in the EasemyGST portal. Once it is done he needs to make the correction in the POS document and update the IRN details manually.

  5. If I have generated IRN via the integrated process can I cancel it manually?
    Ans: No. If IRN is generated via the integrated process then the same has to be cancelled via the integrated process only.
