GIN-I-3376

E-Invoice can now be processed directly (in an integrated way) from Ginesys POS

 Module:

POS - Normal POS

POS - Collection Centre

POS - Back Office - POS Control - Bill Modification

POS - Back Office - Transactions - GRT

Enhancement Summary:

Previously, E-Invoice data had to be exported in an Excel format and then use EasemyGST portal to generate E-Invoice. With this update, now with a single click, you will be able to generate E-Invoice directly from Ginesys POS. This is applicable for both B2B POS Bills and GRT (if generated as Tax Invoice).

Note: E-way bill generation for GRT needs to be done from EasemyGST portal itself as we don’t have logistics capturing provision in Ginesys POS. However, for EWB generation against E-Invoice GRT, you will only need to specify the logistics details in EasemyGST portal for EWB generation.

How to enable E-Invoice in Ginesys POS?

Config file is attached below

FAQ for E-Invoice will tell you more about the feature

POS Plugin Manager has been introduced in Ginesys

Module:

Ginesys HO - Retail Management - Setup - Plugin Manager

Retail Management - Setup - Site - Plugins

Launchpad - System Utilities - Data Sync

Ginesys POS - Administration - Data Exchange

Ginesys POS Auto Update - Update Plugin

Enhancement Summary:

Plugins are the integration developments done by the EasemyRetail team for various payment modes like PayTM.

In order to automate the set up / update process of config and integration files of plugins, the Plugin Manager module has been introduced in Ginesys.

Major Features:

  1. The plugin manager window is divided into three tabs General, Config Files, and Site Allocation.

  2. The user can fill in the plugin details under the General Tab.

  3. User can upload the plugin's default config file under the Config Files Tab.

    1.   If site-wise multi-config file is required, then they can upload all such files from their local system under the same tab.

  4. Once all files are uploaded then they can assign the requisite config file(s) with the respective sites.

  5. 'Update Plugin' tab has been introduced under Ginesys POS AutoUpdate to execute the process of downloading integrations files for a plugin at POS.

Points to Remember:

  • For a site, if a specific config file is not selected from the LOV, the default config file of the plugin will be applicable.

  • Under the existing Site Master, the 'Plugins' Tab has been introduced so that plugins that are already available can be allocated to a site.

Note: Both ways are possible either one can allocate sites to a plugin or allocate plugins available to a site.

Note : Demonstration and usage of the same will be shown by our integration team once we start using this tool for deployment/management purposes.

Scenario:
