The Ginesys POS application requires certain pre-requisites to be installed and run properly -

1. Create POS sites at HO.

2. Allocate License to POS.

3. Operating System requirement.

   1. OS supported POS Application Server^{**
      **}For application server it highly recommended to use Windows Server OS for best performance.
      
      

      1. Windows Server 2012 and later version
         
         Please refer below mentioned SQL Server supported OS matrix to choose OS.

   2. Terminal (64 bits) - These being desktop operating systems are not supported in Ginesys POS application servers.

      1. Windows 10 and later version
         
         

4. SQL Server Database

   1. Ginesys POS works with SQL Server 2008 R2 and later version.

   2. Ginesys POS supports SQL Server Express edition or any higher edition.

5. The presence of software pre-requisites are now auto detected by the installer and installed automatically in case of their absence.
   
   

6. The Ginesys POS setup must be present for installation of the application once the supportive installations are done. for the purpose of further operational needs please note whether it is a 64 Bit machine.
