SYMPTOMS

"This application could not be started. Do you want to view information about this issue?" - Error message is shown while the user tries to run any executable file (.exe) like AutoUpdate, Database Locator etc.

                                  

CAUSE

One of the probable causes for the error is the presence of outdated versions of AutoUpdate.exe and AutoUpdate2.exe.

RESOLUTION

  1. Replace the old versions of AutoUpdate.exe and AutoUpdate2.exe with their latest versions.

    To download the latest versions of AutoUpdate.exe and AutoUpdate2.exe, follow the link: http://support.ginesys.in/downloads/current/

  2. Run AutoUpdate and update the files.
