How To: Handle printer from POS nodes

Printers of nodes are not available in POS server while configuring the Terminal master. So now printer settings can be handled from the node itself. The cashier can now configure his local printer and print the POS bills, GV bills, etc. as required.

Pre-requisites

  1. The user needs to have access to the POS in all modes -

    1. Normal POS
    2. POS as Collection Centre
    3. POS as Delivery Slip

Step-by-step guide

Follow the given steps:

  1. Click on the System Tool button in Terminal details of the POS screen.

  2. The Printer Settings window opens.

  3. Click on the relevant report to be printed.

    Note: In case customized report formats are not allocated to the particular store, the default format would be printed.

  4. Click on the Printer LOV and select the relevant printer.

  5. Select the relevant paper size and other details.

  6. Click on OK to save the record.

  7. Now the printer is ready to print from the Ginesys POS node attached to it.
