Adding and Deleting Bin Group Master

Bin is a designated storage location of Inventory. The Bin Group allows you to give a name to a group of bins storing similar kinds of items. It allows you to collectively address the bins as one entity. This is done to avoid confusion while deciding on the type of bin. This article describes how to add new Bin groups in the Bin Master.

Prerequisites

  1. The users' role must have access to the Add app operation in the Bin Group Master feature in Inventory - WMS - Setup through Roles in Ginesys Web - Admin - Security.

The steps are as follows:

  1. Go to Ginesys Web - Inventory - WMS - Setup - Bin Group Master.

  2. This will open the Bin Group Definition window.

  3. Right click on Root(Connected Site) and select Add option to add a node.

  4. You can add node in every level by using same method. But you can only add node upto level 6.
