Production

Production can be defined as the methods and processes employed to change physical inputs (raw materials, semi-finished goods, sub assemblies etc.) and non-material inputs (ideas, information, knowledge) into goods or services that are suitable for use or having exchange value.

The Production module remains one of this software's strengths and with the masters having moved to Ginesys Web version, it is in the process of growing in capacity.

Ginesys focuses on apparel retail as its basic market, hence our Production module is geared towards garment manufacturing. A basic garment manufacturing flow chart is presented below to allow for better understanding of the same with the steps highlighted in bold being recorded in Ginesys as separate operations:
