TDS is being rounded off incorrectly
SYMPTOMS
TDS Amount is showing wrong in TDS Journal (Finance - Operations - TDS - TDS Journal).
In this case/ scenario, the TDS amount has been calculated as 0.205 but it is showing ₹1.00.
CAUSE
In Ginesys, TDS is calculated with UPPER round-off. Here The UPPER Round off value of 0.205 is 1.00. This is a generic practice over the Retail Industries.
In case of avoiding 3 decimal places, system needs round off such data in to the nearest value. In this scenario, sometimes the value may be less that the actual value and some times it is greater. As Government payment cannot be less that the actual, the calculation has been set to the UPPER Round off.
