How To: Check the Received Data after Data Sync at the store

The Received Data tab in the Data Exchange module of Ginesys POS displays all the data and information received from the HO.

Some of the documents that are received at POS are given below: 

  1. Item and other masters.
  2. Transfer Orders (Consignment Stores) and Sales Order and Invoices (Outright Stores)
  3. Item Audit Plans
  4. Promotions etc.

In Store, the data is first received from HO then sent.

This article describes how to check the data that are received at the store after sync.

Step-by-step guide

The steps are as follows:

  1. Go to Ginesys POS - Administration - System - Data Exchange. The Data Exchange module opens.
  2. Click on the Sync button. The Synchronizing Data window opens.
  3. After the process is complete, click on the Close button to close the window.
  4. To view the data received from the HO, click on the Received Data tab.
  5. The data received will be displayed as a single row in a list view.

    To know the latest data that is received check the Received Session Start Timeand Received Session End Time columns. 


  6. To know more details of the received data, select the data and click on the View Data button (or double click on it). The Data Exchange Detail View window opens.
  7. All the received events will be displayed in the Events section. Click on the required event and you can see, it's contents in the Table section on the right hand side of the window.
  8. To see the detailed content of each event, click on the Show Data button. This opens the Data Exchange Event Data window.
  9. Once done, click Close.
  10. Click Close again to close the Data Exchange Detail View window.
