Managing (financial) Periods in Ginesys Administration

The Periods section in the Admin module contains the master form for Accounting Year-related structures.

This article is a collation of all Periods articles that will enable the creation and management of products through GINESYS in the mentioned order:

1. An accounting period is a conventional extent of time in which accounting functions are executed, unified, and reviewed including a calendar year or fiscal year. Managing the Accounting Year describes the process of setting up an accounting year.
   
   
   

2. Inventory months is a month-wise division of an inventory year to control the inventory entries i.e. to allow or restrict transactions for the month.  Managing Inventory Months describes the process of setting up inventory month.
   
   
   

3. Finance months is a month-wise division of a financial year to control the finance entries i.e. to allow or restrict transactions for the month. Managing Finance Months describes the process of setting up finance month.
