Scenario:

  1. Define HSN / SAC rates as below - 

    Effective date = 01/04/2018
    Charge GST on RSP
    Slab Applicable = Yes
      Slab Detail:
         0 to 500.01 = GST 5%
         500.01 to above = GST 18%

    Effective date = 27/07/2018
    Charge GST on RSP
    Slab Applicable = Yes
      Slab Detail:
         0 to 1000.01 = GST 5%
         1000.01 to above = GST 28%

  2. Observe that on 27/07/2018, the item having RSP = 800 is picking the GST rate at 18% (500.01 to above = GST 18%; as defined for 01/04/2018) instead of  GST 5% (0 to 1000.01 = GST 5%; as defined for 27/07/2018).
