  2. Promotions must be allocated and synced to POS.

  3. Scan the items which are under promotion. You can edit the quantity of the items, if needed.

  4. Click on Payment menu or press F8 key.
  5. You will see that the scanned items will be marked by any of three color.   for Benefit Item,   for Incomplete Buy and   for Benefit Missing.

The above promotion is - Buy any 3 unit from a particular assortment and get 50% discount on MRP. The promotion applicable on first (2 units) and second items (Benefit Item) but the promotion is not applicable in the third item (Incomplete buy). The total MRP of the First and second items is ₹5000 and get 50% discount on MRP. So the selling price of first (2 units) and second items is ₹2500. The MRP of the third item is ₹1000. The third item does not get any promotional benefit due to Incomplete Buy. Therefore the total payable amount of the customer is ₹2500 + ₹1000 = ₹3500.

    • Benefit Item: These items get the selected promotional benefit; in other words, promotions have been on these items . For example: Suppose there is a promotional offer - buy two and get a bill level or memo level discount of 30%. If you scan two items from the promotional buy assortment, then both the items will be marked by Light Green color as Benefit Item.

    • Incomplete Buy: The items which do not fulfill the promotional buy conditions in the quantities scanned in the current bill, although they are part of some promotional buy assortment. For example: Suppose there is a promotional offer of buy two shirt and get one shirt free. If you scan one shirt from the promotional buy assortment, then you cannot avail the benefit from the promotional get assortment. Then that selected shirt will be marked by Sky Blue color as Incomplete Buy.

    • Benefit Missing: If the items which are included in the promotion have been scanned but the item included as get condition (Benefit) has not been scanned in time of bill creation; then the items are highlighted in Peach color. For example: Suppose there is a promotional offer buy two shirt and get one shirt free. You scan only two shirt from the promotional buy assortment but do not scan the shirt which is from the promotional get assortment, then the buy items will be marked by Peach color as Benefit Missing.
