Managing & Deleting User Assignment at Ginesys HO

Various users who will log in as different role to use the Ginesys system in various capacities, are created in the Ginesys HO for HO managed store. HO needs to assign those users to the particular store so that those users can access the system. This article describes how to manage User Assignment in Ginesys HO except sales person.



 Manage User Assignment

Prerequisites

  1. The users' role must have access to the User Assignment feature by enabling Add app operation for the feature in Admin - Security - User - Role through Desktop POS Manager- security - process.

  2. Users must be created.

  3. Site must be created.

  4. Security Role must be created.

Step-by-step guide

The steps are as follows:

  1. Go to POS Manager > Security > Process > User Assignment. 

  2. User Assignment module opens.

  3. Click on Action > Manage.

  4. Manage User Assignment window opens.


  5. Select the User(s) you want to assign from Select User section.

  6. Select the Site(s) where you want to assign the user(s) from Select User section.

  7. Select the Security Role and Security Policy from the drop down list.

  8. Click on Save & Close to save the record.

  9. You will get a message - "Record Saved Successfully".



 Delete User Assignment

Prerequisites

  1. The users' role must have access to the User Assignment feature by enabling Add app operation for the feature in Admin - Security - User - Role through Desktop POS Manager- security - process.

  2. Users must be created.

  3. Site must be created.

  4. Security Role must be created.

Step-by-step guide

The steps are as follows:

  1. Go to POS Manager > Security > Process > User Assignment. 

  2. User Assignment module opens.

  3. Select an assignment you want to delete.

  4. Click on Action > Delete.

  5. You will get a message "Do you want to delete the selected assignment?".

  6. If you click on Yes, the record will be deleted.
