How To: View Purchase Return document at the store Back Office

When a store makes local purchases, it needs to connect to the HO server to do so. Similarly, when these locally purchased items need to be returned for some reason (damaged goods or wrong delivery or any other reason), the store must again connect and create a Purchase Return document. The document once synced to the store can be viewed there. This article describes how to view the Purchase Return document at the store Back Office.

Pre-requisites

  1. The users' role must have access to the Purchase Return features by enabling the view privileges for the feature in Admin - Role - User Role - User's role (Cashier etc) - Access Rights - Back Office - Transaction.

  2. The Purchase Return has to be defined at the HO and synced to the POS.

Step-by-step guide

The steps are as follows:

  1. Sync POS.

  2. Then go to Back Office > Transactions > Purchase Return. The Purchase Return Documents module opens.



  3. Select the required document and click the View button (or double click on it). The Purchase Return Document window opens.

  4. The details of the purchase return will be displayed.

    This is a display only window.

  5. Once done, click on the Cancel button to close the window.
