Ginesys POS setup pack 1.146.2 is now available!

A new Ginesys POS setup has been released recently. The pack is light weight and includes latest patches up to v1.146.2. Since this includes all latest updates till version 1.146.2, it will reduce your patch (database) installation time substantially.

Features:

  • The pack is just 137 MB in size. 
  • It doesn't include SQL Server setup or other pre-requisites.
  • This pack supports SQL Server 2017 out of the box.
  • Patch update time will be minimum. (Current Ginesys version series is 11.148.x)
  • Latest updated utilities like AutoUpdate, DBRestore is already incorporated in this pack.
  • No need to install License Service manually .


Note:

  • The old POS pack (1.30.4 or earlier) will be deprecated soon. It is recommended that you use the new pack for all installation of Ginesys POS.
  • To install the new setup pack your Ginesys Head-Office version must be on or above 11.146.0
  • You need to download SQL Server and other pre-requisites separately. All mandatory prerequisites are kept in the same location. (Follow the above link.)
  • We recommend to use SQL Server 2017. This will ensure smooth inheritance of advanced features.
